教学目标:

(1) 通过学习,能够听懂、会说句型:Where are…?  Are they…?  Yes, they are. / No, they aren’t.并能在实际情景中运用。

(2) 通过Let’s chant,使学生巩固Let’s talk中学过的语言。

教学重点:

通过学习,能够听懂、会说句型:Where are…? / Are they…? / Yes, they are. / No, they aren’t.并能在实际情景中运用。

教学难点:

让学生掌握一般疑问句Are they…? 及其回答。

教学具准备:1. CAI    2. glasses, Teddy Bear, keys,语篇材料

教学步骤:

I. Warm-up/Revision

1. Greetings: Hello! How are you?

2. What’s her name? (Her name is Sarah.)

  Look, this is Sarah’s home. I can see a bed in the bedroom. How about you? (I can see a … in the ….)

3. Sarah has a little Teddy Bear. Where is it?

  ① Let’s sing a song “My Bedroom”.

  ② Where’s the Teddy Bear? (It’s sleeping in bed.)

     Now, look! Where’s the Teddy Bear? (It’s on the sofa/in the fridge/under the table.)

II. Presentation

1. Learn “They’re ….”

  ① Listen to a chant and answer:

    Where is Sarah? (She’s in the bedroom.)

    Where are Mom and Dad/Brother and Sister?

    Learn to say: They’re….

   <Write on the Bb: They’re….>

  ② Chant together.

  ③ Where are you? (I’m in the classroom.)

2. Learn “Where are the …s? They’re….”

  ① Sarah’s bedroom is nice and clean. But John’s room is a mess. Let’s go and have a look.

  Where are the toys? (They’re in the box.)

  Where are the pears/rulers/pencils/bags? (They’re….) (T—S)    (T—Ss)

  ② Can you ask : Where are the …s? (S—Ss)

    <Write on the Bb: Where are the …?>

  ③ Pair work      Act

3. Learn “Are they…? Yes, they are. /No, they aren’t.”

  ① John likes story-books. But he can’t find them. Where are they? Let’s help him. You can guess like this: Are they in the box?

  <Write on the Bb: Are they in the  box?>

  ② Guess more: (S – CAI)       (Ss – CAI)

     A: Are they …?

     B: No, they aren’t. Yes, they are.

  ③ Are they…? (No /Yes.)

     Learn to say: Yes, they are. No, they aren’t.

    <Write on the Bb: Yes, they are. No, they aren’t.>

     Practice: (T – S)       (T – Ss)

     Yes------ they are    No------ they aren’t

  ④ Where are the story-books? Are they….? (No, they aren’t. Yes, they are.)

   Let’s chant.

4. Dialogue.

  ① Look! What are they? (They’re keys.)

     Where are they? Listen and choose.

  ② Read after the CAI.
